The standard
Open RSS feeds, public Reddit threads, and HN. The tooling aggregates, clusters duplicates, ranks by signal, and surfaces the stories worth covering. From there, Eric writes the issue. Every word you read is written by a human.
Every load-bearing claim links to its source. A second-pass verifier reads the finished draft against its sources and flags anything that drifts, as a final QA check before publish.
